there… it’s out..
an unassailable reality;
serious malady
threatens the core
of my existence…

foreign bodies
inhabiting my inner frame
eking out a conqueror’s path,
vying for supremacy.

for these circumstances
are never accidental
more method in Life’s vicissitudes
than meet the eye..

I know, deep within my very core
that this is yet one more fresh challenge to
prove my faith in Life’s bounty..

I rise above the fear
of annihilation, pain, dissolution
and sit, content,
yeh, gladly within the mire of bedevilment,
with strong heart and good thoughts,
secure in the belief that the strength
of awareness and love conquers all…

thou mayest have my body, dull parasites,
but ne’er my soul, spirit and joy..
