how I love the 'may' of May......................................full of promise and potentiality!! we are granted daily the immense privilege of beginning afresh - of repairing the transgressions of yesterday and [with humility] preparing ourselves for the journey ahead.. we can take this opportunity with gratitude, sincerity and determination.. after all, there is nothing else ahead but this virgin territory that is [continuously] unexplored, uncharted and open ended.. it is ours to play with, mould and thereby [with supplication] we can only unceasingly grow in stature [wisdom], appreciation and compassion ... I wish you peace, fortitude and fecundity, fellow travellers on this day of days, on this may of mays... with bows |

Spring days sing with cherry blossom light
sunshine children dancing out the screen door
dressed in bare arms and legs
flying fast as dandelion seeds on the breeze
singing birds in flight beneath their skin
all dream visions of a hot summer
where watermelon rules…….
how I love these gorgeous moments
of new life bursting forth
birthing radiance of joy's delight.
for life is sweet music
floating over water
in a windy pastel sky
and peach petals
that taste like roses
on my tongue…..
my sigh fills the night
as bright as a star…..
remember these moments
I whisper to myself
like pickles in a jar in your mind
like exquisite violet blossoms
bursting forth now in my heart
let this present aliveness
in this time of dawning
sustain us all
in the long nights of winter.
