Whilst the world sleeps................................

| Whilst the world sleeps, I raise my trembling eyelids aloft and gaze with immaculate humility at the unfolding azure of the morning sunrise................ My first thought is one of gratitude...............the immediate and present knowledge of the unconditional blessings of Awareness, Equanimity and Benifience flood through my consciousness like a tsunami of Light and Joy..................... I raise my weary body from its horizontal mien and immediately raise my hands in gassho as a way of acknowledging my return................. I spring light heartedly forth to greet the pre-prandial hours with determination, resolution and a peppering of wonder.............. Without the merest glance back, I post myself on the mat after morning ablution, banish acatalepsy from my vision and open my heart and mind to the abode of the Buddha....... I become released from life and death and throw my life toward Unconditioned Awakening............ Welcome oh new day, whilst the world sleeps, I awaken....................... with bows, |
